The Teen Zone at the Mountain View Public Library is an area in the Library dedicated to teens. Seating in the Octagon area of the Teen Zone is reserved during all open Library hours for teens and those accompanying them.

Amplify: Teen Voices

Amplify is a program for teens who want to share their interests and passions with an audience. If you have a skill you’d like to teach or a topic you know a lot about, we will work with you to create a library program open to the public.

Student Connect Card

The Student Connect Card provides high school students with free access to all library digital resources, including research databases, eBooks and streaming services.

Teen Collection

Library materials held in the Teen Zone include fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels and textbooks. Librarians are available to help connect teens with resources for homework support and to provide reading and listening recommendations.

Teen Events

The Library hosts programs dedicated to teens including career exploration and recreational opportunities. Check the library calendar for upcoming teen events.

Youth Learning Resources

Resources include age-specific research materials, including primary sources, case studies and articles, and live tutoring assistance for a wide-range of subjects.
