Library cards are free to all California residents. Anyone age 13 and older may apply for a library card by filling out the online application and visiting the Library to receive their card.
We offer two library card types to meet your needs, detailed in the following table.

Children 12 and under may obtain a library card with a parent or legal guardian present. A parent or guardian needs to provide photo identification.
Visit the Library with photo ID if you need a replacement card.
Library cardholders must abide by the City of Mountain View Library Card and Borrowing Policy.
